Just had a student tell me after class that she tells her grandmother stories and things we talk about in class to which her grandmother responded, "That doesn't sound like a class!" and my student responded, I love this class.

The comment, "That doesn't sound like a class"... Means your class is a more accurate reflection of how discovery leads to growth outside the classroom in the "real world". And this explains why the student said "I love this class".

I agree completely! I thought it was interesting how sometimes my students can be very articulate about what we are doing in class and have figured out that we have fun so we learn more.
